by Peter F. Hamilton
A fantastic conclusion to what is an epic series, the combination of science fiction, fantasy, political intrigue, and a mystery just makes the entire series as good as the original Commonwealth Saga (Pandora's Star / Judas Unchained). Although this book had slow bits in my opinion (The Edeard story...
I rated it 4 starts because it is a good enough ending to a great story covering 4 massive novels. Not as satisfying as Simmon's Hyperion series, but close...very close.

Therefore, this is basically a rating/review for the whole Void series. My biggest problem with the Void trilogy was the story of Edeard. It did not...
a rousing end to hamilton's most ambitious hard science space opera yet. the author certainly believes in the everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach, as this trilogy (although it is truly more of a quintet) includes EVERTHING: artificial intelligences, sun-diving, galactic religious movements, bio...
