Every once in a while I read a book that hits me so hard it knocks the breath out of me. This was one of those books. It took me some time to collect myself enough to sit down and write this review, because John Greene is simply a genius, and I can only hope to do his book justice with these few par...

About my rating: Let me start off by saying that although I loved the book, it wasn't as good as I though it would be. It's one of those cases where it's over exposure, high ratings and so many people rallying "best book ever" had my expectations completely off the charts. Now, just because it didn'...

I feel I should preface this review by saying I don't typically read books that are designed to be tearjerkers. Having said that, I was desperate to read this book as I'd heard such amazing things about it and I'm so totally glad I did. I LOVED this book and is definately one of my favourites. The Fa...

It's safe to say I cried. Like a baby I cried. This book, although I hate to say it, lived up to the hype and beyond. Although hype should have nothing to with it, do not fret you will be not disappointed.Review now on zoesbookblog.com (somehow I stopped sobbing...)

Hazel has thyroid cancer which causes problems to her lungs making it hard to breathe. She has to carry an oxygen tank with her everywhere she goes. She also is forced to go to a cancer support group in the basement of The 'Literal' Heart of Jesus Church. Her and Augustus and Isaac made fun of it, b...

Reread this book today in one sitting, I'm still trying to recover right now. My eyes are red from crying, my head aches from crying so much, and my stomach hurt from forgetting I was hungry because I was so immersed. Was it all worth it?Absolutely.

Okay John Green, you win. I lose.I had made a solemn vow not to let myself be swayed easily by the mawkish sentimentality of a romantic tragedy again. I mean, you are using cancer-afflicted, dying kids as characters here and asking me to shed sympathetic tears, Mr Green. That is not fair. Absolutely...

Buddy read with Alex! :DAll I can say is that I enjoyed this book. I engaged with every little tiny piece of it and thank to the great writer John Green, this messed with my head in a very beautifully strange way.◆I love everything that goes straight through my heart and makes it flutter sadly and ...

'The Fault in Our Stars' is one of those books that has been on my to-read list pretty much since it was published. For pretty much a year, I have had the ebook copy on my collection. Finally, when I saw that Iina bought the copy to read during her holiday, I decided that I should give it a try as w...
