Stopped this at 25%, lost interest in it but might pick it back up later and read it.
Considered one of the Elemental Masters books, but seems to conflict with canon established in the other tales in small ways. On its own it is enjoyable.
A re-worked fairy tale, this one Beauty & the Beast. Enjoyable.
I liked Jason and Rose but for me too much of this book took place inside their heads. Whenever they were together or at least interacting it was much more enjoyable. But then there would be pages and pages of introspection, which made this a slower read than most Mercedes Lackey.
