With illogical-ideology, impractical-philosophy and a bunch of unreal & robotic characters’ this book was 700 pages of crap.

Strong narrative. Great characters. Not my politics, but absolutely riveting.

I'm an admirer of Rand's ideas and writing and I've rated her other novels five stars. I've avoided reading the books of Ayn Rand for many years, but thought I would give this work a try. I was pleased to find that the story was much more interesting than I anticipated. I'd rather blow it up then let the ignorant unwashed unhip masses have it! Excuse me while I vomit. Also shame on you for promoting rape. This book is a s...

I had not planned or expected to like this novel, given my distaste for many of the politicals these days who take Ayn Rand as their patron goddess - but I would recommend it, even to people of differing political and philosophical bent. Whatever you think of Rand's opinion on capitalism, there is ...
