Would it surprise you if I told you that I read this just because I felt like it? No? Good. That means you know my reading style well! I love Middle Grade, I love fairy tales, and I can't resist anything that has a princess involved, so this book was something perfect for a quick read. I loved the...

Cute and fun. Retelling of the Frog Prince. What if when the princess and the frog kissed, the princess turned into a frog? Yes, this was written before the Disney "The Princess and the Frog." Disney ripped E.D. Baker off for the idea. She should have gotten credit. The book is a billion times bette...

Love stories doesn't have to involve the guy leaving you because he fears for you, nor the fact that you are a loser that gets swept off your feet by your handsome, "mysterious" lover. That's cheesy. When ev...

Attempting to help out a frog who claims he's under a spell and is really a prince, a young princess is coerced into giving him a smooch on his slimy little froggy lips. Complications arise which are later explained and the princess is turned into a frog as well. Taking it mostly in stride, she sets...

I discovered this series by browsing the YA shelves at Barnes & Noble. It looked like a cute idea. This volume lived up to my expectations. I really enjoy the strong heroine and the idea that young people can accomplish big things.
