I don't typically enjoy WWII stories, but this was a masterful piece of historical fiction. Easy to get involved with the protagonist's story and thrilling plot, even when nothing is actually happening.

I enjoyed this book, the sense of Paris under the occupation is great. But two niggles; I have never read a book about a spy who tells so many people so many things and I can't decide whether her decision not to get on the plane was in character - stupid, yes but plausible?
