What a curious book--it managed to be totally compelling and addictive reading even though it has basically no plot tension at all. I got around that by pretending it was just part 2 of the previous book, which it basically is: that was the set-up and this is the payback. And boy, does Larsson pile ...

Genius. Sharp, precise strokes in plot and character development. Fabulously complex and layered plot. A very removed narrative distance that's that for ever reader, but it's perfect for the mind of Lisbeth Salander. High on my favorites of the year.

I'm a huge fan of this series. Not a bad thing I can say about it!

I find this entire series very unenjoyable, but I appreciated what I felt were academic analyses of consent and power in the first two books. Because this third installment failed to present any academic point, there was really nothing for me here. The attempt was clearly to say something about how,...

I can see how some people would find this tedious but I really enjoyed all the detail and convoluted conspiracy. Good ending to the series.

It doesn't feel quite right to do a review of this book separate from The Girl Who Played With Fire, since Hornet's Nest picks up right where the previous book left off and provides the second half of the story. But I will try.One of the things I enjoy about reading books from countries other than m...

It wrapped up the series well. Most of it was pretty boring to me though.
