Kristin Hannah writes very well. The story was great until the point where the deceased mother helps the child home. Spirits are just not my cup of tea.

For the longest time, I had a really hard time trying to figure out where this book was heading and then in classic Kristin Hannah fashion, *BAM* it struck me right between the eyes, with how heart warming it was!! Loved it for a novella!!

This is a short story about something any parent could face. The author did a very good job in writing this book. I just felt she lever somethings out that could of either extended the story or made it just a little better. The ending felt lacking.
