Good story but not as good as the first one. There wasn't enough Jenks and at times Rachel was really annoying. I liked Al, he's such an interesting character and vampire world seemed so cruel but still fascinating. I'm definitely going to continue with this series.
This review can also be found at Carole's Random Life. This was such a fun audiobook! Years ago, I read the first several books in this series but never went any further for some reason. I meant to but I guess I got distracted by other shiny books or something. Since I knew I need a refresher befo...
This was the make or break book for me for this series. The first book, "Dead Witch Walking" showed promise but left me wondering if I really cared what happened to the main character, Rachel Morgan. The second book, "The Good, The Bad And The Undead" sealed the deal for me. It is better written, f...
This is my buddy read of the Hollows series with Moonlight Reader. As it stands I only like two characters at this point, and one of them is a murderer. The other characters are not smart, keep doing increasing dumb things, and are just awful. Besides the characters, the world building at this poi...
This was loads better than Dead Witch Walking, not just in story line and characters but also in the general feel to the writing. I was a little iffy going into this book because I just did not understand the hype to this series after finishing book 1 but I finally started to see glimmers of why so...
The Good, The Bad, and The Undead (The Hollows #2) by Kim Harrison Book Reaction (not a full review)Somebody's killing ley line witches, which is probably not a good thing, so the FIB hires Rachel to investigate, despite the fact that even she knows that she has absolutely no aptitude for detective ...
My Initial Reaction… This was my second time reading The Good, the Bad, and the Undead, but my first time listening to it. I slowed down a bit and actually savored some of the details this time around and I have to admit I’m pretty blown away by the layers of forethought that this early book present...
Audiobook. I also read the paperback. Loved the audiobook as much as reading the physical book. I'm planning on working my way through a re-read of the series by audioboook. Nothing new really stood out but just enjoyed it all over again.
