This book was very good. It follows 7 women and their struggles throughout life. Seeing as it was set in a much earlier time I was surprised to read all of the racy content - the women dealt with many difficulties that women face today.

The last few chapters made the first few worth laboring through. I really disliked some of the characters, but I really LOVED other characters.
