Really a very enjoyable YA novel. Thanks, Mom, for suggesting it! It started out a bit clunky, but once I got to the squid it was sort of a page turner.

If I didn't live on the Puget Sound, I probably would have rated this at 2 stars. It had some added interest for me because I know the area, but it wasn't the greatest story. Rather odd.

What I Happen to Be Reading At the Moment
Finally getting around to one of Jim Lynch's earlier works--another great job at capturing a Pacific Northwest community with the requisite somewhat larger than life characters.
