In 1308 Circenn Brodie, the immortal laird of Brodie, swears an oath to kill whomever comes along with a hallowed Fae flask that's been recently stolen and put a binging spell on. In present day Cincinnati, Lisa Stone is working two jobs to pay the medical bills for her deathly ill mother. One of t...

I know, I know. I shouldn't complain too much. This is a historical time-travel romance that isn't supposed to be a masterpiece. Most read these kinds of books, well let's be honest, for the sexy Highlander and the sex. But I don't care if I sound whiny and/or repetitive. YOU SPOILED MY PERFECT E...

So it continues with Moning’s Highlander series. One thing I really love about this series is that they are all different stories, but they’re also all connected in different way. For instance, we meet Hawk Douglas and Adam Black in Beyond the Highland Mist. Grimm, Hawk’s best friend is the hero in ...

This was a 3-star meh for me. All the elements were there but it seems to take forever to get anything going and at the end, everything was tied up with a bow a bit to pretty and sappy for me. I'm a bit disappointed because I think it could have been sooo much better.

Love love LOVEEEEEEEEEE this book. Actually I've been loving this whole series. There isn't much to say other than: hot highlander, modern woman, intense spark, time travel, that devious (and in this book, surprising!) Adam Black, steaminess that fogged up my glasses and a beautiful story. What's no...

One thing that I loved about To Tame a Highlander was that there was no insta-love/lust. Gavrael and Jillian already had a history together and we just needed to get filled in. With The Highlander’s Touch Moning resorts back to insta-love, which I find pretty annoying, because she already used this...
