Horrible. I had planned to write a page or two of venomous review but on second thought, this apology of an novel deserves a review worth the same degree of effort as the author's skill at writing a novel. Four lines is all I could muster, go figure.

Now, having finished the 400-odd pages that comprise the first instalment of the highly acclaimed Shiva trilogy, I can’t even bring myself to round up the rating to...

A good read if you have nothing else to read. The beginning left a lot to be desired and initially, the writing style seemed to be a little disjointed. But there was a marked improvement as the story progressed. This book came with high recommendations and turned out to be a bit of a let down. I'd gi...
