Audience: Young Adult The world is a clock winding down. - opening sentence This was a re-read for me to prepare for reading the final book in the series, The Last Star. I read a recap summary, but I felt like I needed more information. I enjoyed revisiting Cassie, Ben, Evan, Ringer, Nugget,...

I was interested to see where this book was going to go after I finished the first one.In Infinite Sea we are not focusing on Cassie as we did before we are getting the point of view from Ringer. Though I was kind of thrown off from when we would change from Ringer to Cassie and what she was going t...

4.5 starsThis is full of so many unexpected things that it's hard for me to grasp it all. I'm not certain what is real at this point. I was totally into the book every second, but now I think I need to go over it again maybe to really understand. I thought this was way better than book 1, but both...

I had to reread the first few paragraphs in each chapter to figure out what character they were even talking about. Also a maj...

So in my review for The 5th Wave I said: I'm hoping that I wont have it figured out in the first 10% of the book. Maybe I can turn my brain off for a bit and just sit back and enjoy it. Well I didn't have this book figured out it the first 10% but that's because this book makes a lateral movement ...

I was so very excited to read this, and Ringer nearly ruined it for me. I just dislike her, very very much. Reading from her POV was painful for me. I found Ben quite irritating as well. This book was also painfully slow. I fully intend to continue the series. I am enjoying the story, just some of t...

“It isn’t that the lies are too beautiful to resist. It’s that the truth is too hideous to face.” After the events in The 5th Wave I thought for sure that any sequel couldn't compare...and I was right. Picking up not too long after it left off, the new crew is together on high alert. For the ...
