I was really looking forward to reading this book when it first came out and its very rare that I can't finish a book, unfortunately this one ended up in my DNF pile.
I felt so conflicted while reading this book, because the hero of this novel was such an arrogant bastard, but I actually liked him. I don't know why, but I did. It is what it is.
Eh. This one was a Kindle freebie and I'm glad I didn't spend money on it. The plot was an odd mix of 'Cinderella' and 'Beauty & the Beast,' and despite the current references, it still felt very dated. The cardboard characters really didn't work for me.
