I simply was not captivated by the characters, writing, what passed as a plot or anything else for that matter. It was confusing, that is all.
For re-read project at madness' second apocalypse site.Like a game of benjuka, the pieces have moved sufficiently since the denouement of Prince of Nothing that the rules have changed. It's kickass. why haven't you read these books yet, greasers?
This is how to do bleak. This is the kind of book that makes me go outside and sit in the sun for a few minutes just to keep the unrelenting darkness from crushing me.
