I thought this book was ok. It felt a bit "dime a dozen" to me. I didn't think it was as atmospheric as what some of my other Goodreads friends were saying nor as I was expecting. Overall, an acceptable read though.

I definitely enjoyed this but not as much as either The Violets of March or Blackberry Winter... I don't know why but it was clunkier than those two.....
