4/5; 4 stars; A-Jo Goodman builds her stories on the very solid foundation of excellent characters. This book managed to have some light hearted moments, a mystery, some horrible moments, a sweet romance, and bit of a twist at the end. Very enjoyable read.
*Happy sigh* Goodman's westerns are just so good. Vivid characters and settings. Complex problems that aren't solved easily. Can't wait for the next one.
