I got this book as a freebie from audible (my first audiobook, btw!) six years ago and have listened to it every year since then. Here's the review I posted in 2014, and here's the annual Tom Mison picture, because he's easy on the eyes. And here he is as Ichabod Crane. TV Ichabod is far supe...

2019: I skipped listening to this one the last couple of years, so it's with great delight that I've returned to it for the "Sleepy Hollow" square on my bingo card. My 2016 and 2013 updates are below. As an aside, the new boy that I mention in the 2014 updates is now my daughter's fiancee and will...

This is the fifth year I've listened to this, and the third year I've used it for Halloween Bingo. I'm not going to review it here, but I will link to the review I posted five years ago. I will also post this picture of Tom Mison again, because he's gorgeous.

I've listened to this every year since I got it--four years now. Tom Mison is what makes this book for me. His narration is absolutely delightful.

My third time listening to this, and I swear it gets better every time. Tom Mison is a fabulous narrator, he should totally narrate more books.

This is the first I’ve ever read Ichabod Crane’s original story, and it was surprisingly funny, especially as read by the wonderful Tom Mison in this Audible Original performance. Ichabod is wonderfully drawn with his ridiculous appearance and unconscious arrogance and hubris, so that I can still fe...

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is such an iconic piece of literature, I was really surprised to recall that I hadn't read the actual story! It's talked about so much, and everyone knows about the Headless Horseman. Since it's almost Halloween, it seemed like the perfect time to go through some classics...

I never watched the Sleepy Hollow series. But this rendition of the famous story is pretty cool. What I have always loved about this story is the great use of humor. Irving you wicked man you.

I listened to this last night. I've seen and heard things related to this story but I never actually read the original. This is narrated by Tom Mison, the star of the Sleepy Hollow tv show (which I love). His voice is perfect and I found myself picturing his character at times. This was a bit funn...

The Books: Vampires vs. Werewolves – Terry Pratchett: Feet of Clay (Discworld #19) Part of the Night Watch subseries and officially now one of my favorite non-Witches Pratchett novels. And I also have a new favorite non-Witches Discworld character: the Night Watch's resident female werewolf Consta...
