As far as graphic novels go, this one was okay. I liked that different events were included from the book that did not make an appearance in the movie, but plenty of things were still left out (Medusa, Waterland, final scene between Luke and Percy). The artwork was alright. At times it was difficult ...

I've heard a lot about this book from people of different ages. The first time I heard about it was a few years ago from my then 7 or 8 year old cousin. He adored it! Loved the quests and the gods (having never known anything about Greek mythology before this). Putting myself in his place, at 8 year...

When I saw this listed on the Book Depository, I just knew I had to buy it. It had to happen. I love the Percy Jackson series so much, so I honestly didn't care that it would be the exact same story. Kids with brains, great adventure, humor along the way. I would very much recommend this to anyone of any age to enjoy, as I did.

The writing style wasn't great; I thought it could have been better if it were written in a third-person style, like the _Harry Potter_ series. Still, if you liked _HP_, you'll probably like this, too...

I was surprised by how I actually enjoyed the story. I first heard of this series because of the movie promo but I wasn’t too interested then to find out much about the series, just the basic gist to it. I read this version (graphic novel) because of a challenge which requires graphic novel howeve...

I tried.... so, so hard to like this and I just couldn't. Percy seemed over rated to me and I was yawning so much that I couldn't possibly finish it. I was expecting a lot but it didn't deliver. I picked it up for a second time after a little while and I got the same results. It says on the back...

Full review @ Mission to ReadI had no interest in this book until I watched the movie recently. As I’ve mentioned briefly before I’m reluctant to read books written by men. (I’m trying to change this and am challenging myself to read books written by men.) What I found inside the book was nothing l...
