Ok, ok, so I picked this up purely because I was staying in Whitechapel for a few days and felt compelled to read something connected with Jack the Ripper. And then five minutes into the story I realise it's set in a different part of London - more towards Baker Street than Whitechapel. Oh, well.......

With the premise of this book, I was really expecting more of a "thriller" from it. In my opnion, it really fell flat in that expectation. Was it a mystery? Yes, but barely..again, my opinion only. If I didn't have to read it for several challenges, I probably wouldn't have finished it.
