This book isn't bad. So why did I decide to put it down uncompleted? It's not great either; the writing is actually very good, the characters are solid, the storyline somewhat interesting. It was about 200 pages too long, and the story lost steam halfway through. Too bad, it had a great start.
I got about 50 or 60 pages in. It's just not for me.
