When an abandoned baby is found at a local fire station, is it a legal surrender of a child, or is the mother in danger?

Police Officer Megan Luz discovers a cryptic message stitched into the fabric of the baby's blanket that takes her investigation to a compound for a religious sect at the far reaches of Fort Worth, TX city limits. Megan, along with her K-9 partner Sergeant Brigit, know there's something horribly wrong happening inside the ten-foot stone walls of the compound, but with the sect's high-powered legal team putting Fort Worth PD under fire for a witch hunt, their investigation is blocked at every turn.
