I've been reading this one for ages. The wear is definitely showing on this one.
11th in the series - the general plot is a search through Oz for the missing Ozma of Oz. Lots of the familiar lovable characters and some fun new ones too. A lot of the books are self contained and can be read independent of the series, but I wouldn't say that is the case with this book.
