While this was a re-read I still found the book great. Yes Dan Brown is essentially a formula writer but he does add different elements to each book that make them slightly different. All in all a great book.
This book was about 200 pages too long. Dan Brown needs to learn how to not be so wordy and to leave the science-stuff-that-has-a-little-to-do-with-the-plot-but-not-really out of it. Also, I kept hearing Tom Hanks read this to me in my mind.
