I loved The Eight which was a 5*+ for me but sadly this book is nowhere near as good. Certain parts were interesting, the historical details for example, but Ariel was just annoying and the plot line confusing which isn't good if being read on a Kindle. I wish I could have liked it more, as I'm sure...
