"The Magician's Apprentice" is a stand-alone prequel to "The Magicians' Guild" and, for me, it represents a welcome return to form for Trudi Canavan. I've been a fan of Judi Canavan since I read the first page of " The Magician's Guild" back in 2004. It is still one of my favourite fantasy books. ...
Now, i have absolutely no clue what i want to say about this book.....hmmm well from the get go i felt like this book would be a 4 star rating and it never let me down, which i think is a good sign. Ummm the characters were great, to me they felt pretty believable in their actions, behaviors and tho...
As usual I am impressed by Trudi’s characters. The protagonist, Tessia, is funny, intelligent and strong - she holds her own in the male-dominated world of the magicians as apprentice to Lord Dakon. It was great to read a female protagonist who didn’t swoon over every boy she met as well! Her resemb...
This book was a simple, fast and predictable read. It was not very difficult to transverse through page after page... after page. At first, I was just extremely bored with the book as a whole. The beginning is frighteningly similar to Kaladin's beginning in The Way of Kings and that turned me off to...
The Magician's Apprentice (The Black Magician Trilogy 0.5) by Trudi Canavan My rating: 5 of 5 stars I really loved this book. Though at first I was a bit confused as to when it's actually happening, because there was no note on it. It happens in the Black Magician universe, and it's about the tim...

La protagonista è un pò un peso morto per tutta la storia, sa curare e va bene ma non combatte mai attivamente ...

Lord Dakon takes her as his apprentice and his other apprentice, Jayan, is none too happy about it. And soon Ky...

This was the first Trudi Canavan book I read, it was on special in Kmart and the first couple of paragraphs really pulled me in. I found this book incredibly intriguing and expertly written. It surprised me how much I enjoyed following the war and watching it develop from all angles. I also loved...
Just as good a her first series, but I would have expected some little advancement by now?Still, it's certainly not worse and it's a lot better than the Priestess of the White series, so I highly recommend it if you liked her originally.
