It's been several years since I've reread this one (maybe seven?). It seems more polished and put together than most of the other Narnia books. This one was the last Narnia book Lewis finished writing (according to wikipedia) and I wonder if that made a difference. This has been one of my favorite...

A slightly disturbing tale, but a great book over all. Really helps tell how the Narnia world started.

A fun read, and a nice beginning of the series. You get to know how Narnia (and the closet entry) was created. It was exciting, funny (the lamp post ha!) and makes me want to read more.

My favorite of the Chronicles of Narnia. 'Tis such a pity it is often overlooked or ignored - I should dearly love to see a film adaptation of it.

I started the Narnia Chronicles with the first novel written, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and then went in the numbered order on the books, leaving this book, chronologically first, for last. I'm glad I did. I think you enjoy this tale about the creation of Narnia a lot mo...
