4 starsI was completely engaged in Hannah and Isaac's lives despite the occasional stiff narration. I wish there had been more detail peppered in the prose, but the swift pacing and intense drama made this book hard to put down. Full review soon at www.mangamaniaccafe.com
I liked this book. Hannah is a woman who defies the patriarchal edicts laid down by both her religious "government" as well as society as a whole. She does what she needs to do to surive and for the love of her man!It's a quick read and nothing that will win the pulitzer but hey, it was enjoyable....
