Initial reactions: Forgot to mention that I read this a while ago, but overarching impressions - the heroine ruined this read for me. Probably one of the most insufferable narrators (not talking about the audio reader - she did well for the material she was given) I've come across in the genre. Oy v...
I read this story for a challenge. It's been on my mental TBR for a while and it fit perfectly for a specific task so I decided to get on my Kindle Owners Lending Library for the month and check it out. Well, I will say that the story was interesting...childhood friends/crushes reuniting and find...
WARNING: Unpopular opinion time. This is, without a doubt, the most redundant book I’ve ever read. It’s really repetitive. I mean, the MC’s inner monologue is on some sort of replay. Her thoughts are cyclical. One might even say that there’s a recurring theme. She thinks the same shit over and over a...
Tru Bennett has been dating Will for two years. Jake Wethers is her childhood bestfriend but now the leader of a world famous band. Will he remember her when she comes to interview him for the magazine she works for?True love and the problems of loving someone so in the public eye. Oh yes, and wh...
The Mighty Storm - Sexy, angst-filled, consuming, and a roller coaster of emotions! I really loved this story, despite it being a love triangle. Yes, sometimes that part was frustrating but it was also heart-wrenching at the same time. My emotions were up and down throughout this whole story. I abso...
This book grabbed me right away! It starts out with a lot of anticipation/anxiety over Tru, a music journalist, who is about to interview her childhood best friend, now a famous rock star. Even though they lost touch when they were fourteen, she's been in love with him whole whole life. Will he even...
Why is it always so easy to hate the girl?! I'm thinking it's a jealousy thing. Or maybe it's because she ultimately has all the control to make the angst go away. I know it takes two to tango, but damn it if I didn't love me some Jake Wethers and want to slap me some Trudy Bennett! Yes, I am guilty...
I'm hesitating between giving this book 1 star or 2 because I enjoyed the first quarter of it but absolutely not what followed.Obviously, this book wasn't for me. If you don't like love triangles and cheating and immature heroines, this book won't do it for you either.
