3.75 starsHe does such a good job of making the characters seem real. Like you know people who would behave this way. This book held my attention. I couldn't read it at night lol.

The morning after the night I started this book, I had to drive into work in the midst of a thick fog. I will admit to feeling a little weirded out, lol. And that was before I knew what was in the mist. Anyway, this was really good. And also really tense, and scary, and I just felt really claustro...

When a dangerous storm rolls into town, all the residents can think about is the insurance claims they'll have to make and clearing away the debris. What they don't realise is that that the storm will quickly become the least of their worries. It's not long before 80 people find themselves trapped i...

I actually started listening to the enhanced "3-D audio" version first and I hated it. The actors sounded so fake to me so I switched to just reading it and I liked it much better that way.

I read this book as a teenager, as a young adult, and now as a woman in her 30s. This story definitely holds up. I remember the first time I read "The Mist" (in the Skeleton Crew collection) that I was floored by how well King captured how human beings end up turning on each other in a crisis. This ...

Perhaps because its a novella, but this is one of the few Stephen King books I've actually managed to make it through. I really enjoyed it. But, uhm, that ending for the movie The Mist was definitely stronger and more impactful.

I've been meaning to read The Mist for such a long time and I finally got around to it today. I liked the story, but I didn't like the characters so much.

This book is a fast pace, short and easy to follow read. Right from the start it takes off with the storm and you want to keep reading until you find out what is happening and what is going to happen. The characters are awesome and there are so many different types of people which makes it more bel...
