This is a complicated and moving series. Love, betrayal, hate and redemption are words that describe the characters and the plot. So many layers to dig through, I'm not sure I understand it all, but damn if it doesn't make you think (and feel) about choice and fate.
There were parts of it I really enjoyed. I thought it was interesting seeing how Maxine and the boys dealt with their separation.But it seems way too early to be introducing a kid to the storyline and since I'm amazingly not a kid person I'll have to see how Liu deals with it before I decide whether...
