by Michael York, Anne Rice
This is one of those books, and authors, I've been meaning to read forever but have just never gotten round to until now. I read the comic version of this just before Christmas and loved it, so thought I'd go the whole hog and read the novel. It was even better. The multiple POV is both necessary and...
I tried to like this book... Undead, mummy, what's not to like?I got about half way through before I decided to give up. It's not that it was badly written, it just isn't my cup of tea. Maybe all the good stuff happens at the last half. But there are too many books out there I want to read to spend ...

This one is almost a 5 star for me - the Mummy, an immortal rejuvented by the sun, is awakened in early 1900s (?) England when his tomb is found. Murder, love, lots of danger. Even Cleopatra has a role. Really enjoyed it.
Good read!!
