This book was so boring over the first third I thought I might have to kill myself. Then it improved somewhat, only to go to hell over the last 15% or so. Meh. But probably 'meh' because I listened to the BBC Audio full cast dramatisation and it wasn't as well scripted, or whatever it is they do, than the last one, Crooked House. It was shorter, but somehow much more scattered, less cohesive. What I can say that applies to any edition of this book...

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Hugh Fraser and I could listen to Fraser for hours on end. He is by far my favorite narrator of the Christe books and he even outshines David Suchet. The Murder on the Links is one of my favorite Poirot novels. The mystery is a great one, Poirot has to deal ...
