2.5This really looks and sounds like my kind of book. I did like some things, but it never really grabbed my attention and held on. It moved slowly at times, and maybe I was a little distracted while reading and didn't connect as well as needed. When I felt something it was mostly down feelings. ...

Coralie lived in a house that also housed her father’s museum of wonders. She was not permitted to enter the museum part of the house until she reached a certain age. It contained specimens her father believed would be upsetting for her to see until she was 10 years old. In 1903, Coralie is finally ...

Though she was sheltered from the contents of the museum until she was ten she has grown up surrounded by the peo...

The novel is told from two points of view. The first point of view is by Coralie Sardie. Coralie is ...

What just happened?I think I'm turning into a monster, a horrible monster who hates everything and everyone and lives on dissatisfaction and bitterness. How in the world could I not have loved this book? I mean, look at the title! The cover! The synopsis! It's full of promise and I was lured in by th...

I had high hopes for this one. The beginning was entertaining, but I quickly lost interest. Maybe it was my ADD kicking in. It failed by 50-page test, so I'm not sure how to rate this since I didn't finish it. It wasn't necessarily bad writing. It could be that I just wasn't in the right mood for th...
