Really cool art, but I don't get the book aspect. I don't demand strict linearity from my picture books, but I do kind of like to get some aspect of what it is supposed to be about.
Bought this when it was published in the 80s, when I was at the height of my obsession with picture books. Loved it. I never wrote any stories from it.
