Didn't enjoy this as much as the Volsunga Saga. Maybe because it made more sense, and because it made sense the weird stuff was just glaringly weird instead of organically so.
The great epic poem in the original medieval German, which is not impossibly hard to read, since this edition includes vocabulary and grammatical notes. I've read it right through twice.
