DNF. I got about 65 pages in. The following is not a proper review!I hate the writing style. I will never like or appreciate the story which is fractionally interesting but the long windy passages, half which could be scrubbed out, the present tense, the 'tell' rather than show style... it just does...
I loved this book. It was very imaginative, descriptive, engrossing.
I loved this book more than any other I've read in a long time. The story is enchantingly unique. The author lays out a vibrant and compelling tale that is perfectly-paced and well-written. As soon as I finished, I wanted to read it all over again.
