Okay, I liked it. Was it the best horror novel ever? NO. Did it have plot holes? Yes. Were there head scratching moments? Yup. It still entertained me and It was a interesting take on the vampire story.

You'll just have to read the trilogy. The ending of this was epic. No disappointment at all!

Not my favorite but still a decent wrap-up of the series. Love me some Guillermo del Toro. 3 stars.

The authors highlight the changes wrought by the fallout and by the world domination of the Master ...

I thought this was a good conclusion to the trilogy. Things were wrapped up (perhaps a bit too neatly).

Good horror requires atmosphere. I’ve stated that more than once, most recently just a few weeks ago, so this isn’t a great revelation by any means. I just feel it’s necessary to repeat because The Strain sort of gets it right. The opening scenes of the novel are full of a great deal of tension a...

Somewhat repetitious. You can only kill vampires so many times before it gets old.
