3.5 starsI bet this book is really amazing if you had not seen the movie and had no idea how the story unfolded. But I did still enjoy it even know I knew how it turned out. It's been so long since I had seen the movie that I thought it was time to read the book. A nice quick read. I did enjoy it.
The usual heart-touching sensation grips your soul with THE NOTEBOOK....which is like a habit now for me with all the NS books. I love the way you write, NICHOLAS SPARKS....
I got to meet Nicholas Sparks on April 10, 2012 at a lecture and signing at my university. It was awesome and so sad to learn about his life and what his novels were inspired by. I got to ask him his favorite YA book or series he said, "Harry Potter, definitely. I love J.K. Rowling." It was so fun!
I have started with this novel over a month ago. And it was okay. Nothing spectacular. I've just read like two chapters, put it down and started reading something else.But yesterday I picked it up again and I read it through in one sitting.Before I've read it, I've looked at some reviews here on Goo...
This took me forever to read, because I read it on my Palm and only when I had no other books at hand. I was positively surprised by it though. It was very slow starting, but ended up being a beautiful love story.
