Philippa Gregory trzyma poziom. Praktycznie od 1998 roku wydaje jedną powieść rocznie, a od momentu, w którym zaczęła "na boku" tworzyć "Zakon Ciemności", to nawet dwie. Oczywiście nie jestem taką fanatyczką, żeby twierdzić, iż dosłownie każda jej książka jest niepowtarzalna i jedyna w swoim rodzaju...

Rather overblown and it goes on too long. I didn't much like any of the 3 main characters either who were hugely irritating. Not Gregory's best by a long chalk.

Philippa Gregory is an amazing author to me...There are none of her stories/books that are less than 4 stars to me...this book is simply a continuation on the "dramatization" of the 1600-1700 monarchies, but still entrancing.
