The start of this one has some misunderstandings - Mac is rude at first for a good reason (not that I'm going to give her reason). The romance was slow at first, with both of them aware of the attraction but not really sure about doing something about it.

This and other reviews can also be found on my blog (un)Conventional Bookviews and were originally posted there. When I picked up The Other Side of Us for free on amazon, I thought I’d get a light, slick romance. Something hot that would just take a couple of hours to read, then be forgotten… What I...

(I'm so tired of books that use that) ...

Australian authors are exceptional. The story and characters are really lovely. As far as free kindle book goes, this is one quality fiction.

1.5 star read; highly predictable yet plodding story that doesn't really seem to evolve until the end.

Loved this one! Not only was it well constructed and very sexy, I enjoyed reading about a couple who aren't 25. These characters are "nearly forty" and not a bit less sexy for it.Nice plotting, excellent dialog.
