Author: S. E. Hinton Narrator: Jim Fyfe Time: 05:27:26 Reread. Oh my gosh this books gives all the feels! I haven't read this book since elementary school and I had forgotten how much I loved it. The story is haunting in a way. The social division between the Greasers and the Socs is somethi...

I want to know why I was never required to read this book in school? It is freaking amazing! Another blogger friend of mine posted about her copy of The Outsiders and it intrigued me. Then I asked my husband about the book and he said he read it and it was awesome. So I knew I had to give this book ...

This is one of my favorite books of all time if not my favorite book. I love all of S.E. Hinton's books and most of all her characters. I did listen to this one this time around and have to say the audio book is not my favorite. But still, all the love for this book. Ponyboy and his brothers, Sod...

In fact, from what I've heard it's the book that really started the YA genre. So to give it a mediocre score just fee...

I've found myself rolling around in a pile of tissues. And screaming "Hinton, no!" over and over again. Interesting.

Wow! I never read this in high school. Did I miss a good book! I loved this book. It resonated so much. The characters were great. I loved the first person point-of-view. I became part of the book as I was reading it. I bawled my eyes out at Johnny's letter to Ponyboy. Fantastic!

I don't know why I waited so long to read this one. It's one of those that I will never forget. I wasn't expecting the story to come away with such a deep message. :)
