Here is the drawback to making the commitment to writing something about every book you read: sometimes, there isn't really anything to say worth the effort it takes to write it. This third and final book wasn't horrible. It just wasn't great, or even very good either. Very predictable if you've...

So I used to be a book snob. I was an English major so I would only read books considered 'literature'. Even though I mostly read modern lit or southern lit....it had to be 'literature' and certainly not romance novels...OMG...NO! Well, I ended up visiting with some friends out of state and had left...

First read December 4th 2008. I really enjoyed reading this book. And felt it was more of tear jerker than the previous two books. I loved the relationship between Gage and Cybil. It's humerous and heartfelt. Of course that's down to Ms Roberts lovely writing.Read it. 4*

This was a satisfying resolution to the Sign of Seven trilogy. Sometimes its nice to have everything wrapped up neatly and tied with a red bow!

The last pair have to work out if they want to be a couple or to resist. Gage Turner is the son of an abusive drunk who travels the world gambling and Cybil Kinski is a woman avoiding relationships having seen her father after he killed himself while young. The two of them have chemistry but they qu...

The conclusion is not surprising. The third set - Gage and Cybil finally succumb to the romance while fighting evil. I don't like the nightmares and after watching the "mist" from Stephen King, this book kind of reminds me of it in ways. Overall, an okay series.
