I wonder how many children would easily accept that this young man has a job delivering papers. In our part of the world adults have taken over this job market.
This is a very pretty and simple book about a boy and his paper route, but ultimately it's also a bit boring and forgettable. I'm afraid I wouldn't have even picked it up if it hadn't been for the Caldecott sticker.
