There are a lot of movies based on Grisham books. I decided to check some out when I found about them. Never watched this movie but kept hearing about it, so I had it my tbr pile ready for the game square. The idea is that in a country filled with lawyers to the gills (it's a factor that's gone over ...

I haven't read this one in at least a decade, and I was happy at how well it stood up. Dated, of course, although not quite as badly as I expected. At one point Grantham ends a phone call and "puts the phone on the floor", which stopped me in my tracks for a moment, until I remembered: big landlin...

I'm sorry, but I just couldn't finish this. It was just, I can't even explain how bad it was. The writing was IMO pretty bad (please don't kill me Grisham fans). I could not for the life of me get into it.

I've been wanting to borrow those books so I finally did. Mind you, the books were first editions...

A fun, easy to read crime/law novel. Not brilliant, but not terrible either. I would recommend it to new readers.

This was a perfect book to listen to during a long, tedious road trip. I remember being so enthralled into the story I sat in my car for about ten minutes after I got home, not wanting to stop. It had a little slow start but it was high on intrigue shortly after. Good story and a little different fr...
