Even better than the first book. In my opinion, this one puts the Penderwicks firmly in the ranks of classic children’s lit. [Sep. 2008]-----The sequel to The Penderwicks and, in my opinion, even better than the first book. Sweet, funny, and touching. (Aug. 2010)
I really want to give this book a 5--I read it in one day directly on the heels of the first book--but it wasn't quite as charming as The Penderwicks. Still, the characters are great and I love a happy ending!
