James’s life had been takeoffs and landings and hookups in every city, but after the crash, he’s scared to fly, and despite his tight body and chiseled looks, steamy Grindr encounters no longer interest him. He takes a long vacation to Miami to breathe ocean air and think about his life.

Claude Richards, a gorgeously bearded professor, asks James on a coffee date, and James recoils so hard that he ends up spooking Claude just as badly as Claude had spooked him.
