Is the narrative impressive in scope? Definitely. Is the information meticulously detailed? Undoubtedly. Is this one of the dullest tomes to ever strain my wrists for months? Unequivocally my good man!

The best non-fiction book I ever read. Its a history of almost everything that has happened since the discovery of oil and through the first Gulf War.
