Now that so many immortals have been paired with their lifemates, they need time off from their roles as enforcers to take their honeymoons. That means that the enforcers will be down a few hunters. Cue Aunt Marguerite, who never seems to miss an opportunity to set immortals up with their lifemat...
This was a fun, easy read with likable characters and humorous situations. When the story begins Harper is still mourning the lifemate he lost a couple of years prior. Drina realizes that he is probably her lifemate but she needs to tread slowly since Harper may not be ready to accept it. While r...
Harper and Drina are great together. And I love their relationship with Stephanie. I really look forward to seeing where this branch of the family goes in the future.
The Reluctant Vampire (Argeneau #15)by Lynsay Sands5 of 5 stars http://angelswithattitudebookreviews-joelle.blogspot.comHas this immortal finally met her match?Rogue hunter Drina Argenis (from the Spanish side of the Argeneau family) has been many things in her years as an immortal, but bodyguard/b...
We already knew Harper from Elvi and Victor’s book. he was one of the vampires who thought Elvi could be his mate. Figures she wasn’t, but he apparently found a mate in Port Henry, just like all the other vamps did, who wanted to see Elvi. But during the turn, his mate died leaving him hating himself...
Good story with plenty of action and humor. I liked the heroine and the important secondary character although never really warmed up to the hero but it was so funny. Older experienced and Spanish vampire Drina is sent as bodyguard along with Harper who is still sad over loss of his life mate.
I enjoyed the continuation of the Argeneau family series. Rouge hunter Drina Argenis ( from the Spanish side of the family ) has been many things but bodyguard & babysitter to a teenage vampire is something new. However there is an incentive : the other vampsitter, Harper Stoyan, may be Drina's...
I have fun with this series, but I'm starting to think it's getting a little old. I think I just really liked the main family and now it's become the never-ending series. I'll still keep reading despite feeling that way, but books that follow a million different characters tend to have the same feel...
Ok. Not great. There were a few funny moments, but def. not the hilarity of early Argeneau books. No real emotion, too many characters drawing the focus away from the main couple.
